This new Scout model is a work of art. The 4.5 inch blade is forged from W2 and has a clay hamon line wandering thought the flat grind. The convex edge is stropped razor sharp and the spear point tip is great on wood as well as game. The handle is crafted from gorgeous arizona ironwood and is held by an array of bolts and pins. Three loveless bolts with copper barrels and seven hand peened nickel silver pins as well as a NS lanyard tube. The copper bolsters are dovetailed to fit the handle and soldered to the blade as well as thorough pinned, for lifetime fit. Red liners accentuate vine filework on the spine.
