This graceful Nessemuk is expertly forged from 1084 High Carbon steel and flat ground for slicing efficiency. The sides are in the signature Brute De Forge style with the hammer and oxidation marks of the forge visible in contrast to the polished bevels. The cutting edge is convex and stropped razor sharp on a leather belt. The handles are crafted from local Osage orange wood, which is then treated with aquafortis to give it a warm honey tone. Nine hand peened nickel silver pins anchor the handle and contrast the brass lanyard tube. Gimping on the spine gives the thumb registry and grip. This knife includes a custom, heavy leather double stitched ouch style sheath to keep it at your side. This is an absolutely beautiful and useful knife with a four inch blade and 8.5 inch overall lengh.
