Your skean dhu is all done! I think it turned out very nicely. As requested, I used an old Nicholson file from a barn in Davenport, IA and 5k year old bog oak from under the Nodaway River valley in Adams county (it has been stabilized). The cutting edge is about 3 inches and overall it’s about 7.25. It’s single edged with a false grind on top and a convex cutting edge. I made an ambidextrous boot style sheath to keep it slim and concealable. I hope you like it!
