This compact EDC is hand forged from W2 tool steel with a clay hamon and a 3.5 inch convex cutting edge on a flat ground blade. Gimping on the thumb and first finger helps register the fingers on the tool and a small self guard protects the you from the edge. A sharpening notch assures easy care on the strop. The handle is crafted from Osage orange wood that has been stained with aquafortis to give it a warm honey tone tone, with a hand rubbed tung oil finish. Four brass pins, a central loveless bolt and a lanyard tube anchor the handle. The top edge is unsharpened. A handy tool, easy to carry and use.
