Forged by hand from W2 tool steel with a clay hamon and a cutting edge at 62.5 RC. The four inch blade has a stropped convex edge and a long unsharpened false edge on top. The handle is crafted from local black walnut with a local Iowan Bog Oak collar, featuring 3500 year old bur oak from underneath the Nodaway River in Adam’s co. The soldered guard is made from nickle silver as are the space and pin. Light, comfortable and capable, this is a great tool to have at your side for any trip outdoors.
