Forged from tough 1095 with a convex edge about 2.75 inches long and overall length of 7.5 inches. The blade has an unsharpened false edge on top and gimping on the spine. The handle is crafted from ebony, with a few grey streaks in otherwise nearly black wood. The guard, corby bolts and lanyard tube are brass. Vine filework decorates the lower portion of the tang and an X marks the finger groove on the front. A solid and beautiful little tool that will handle bigger jobs that you might expect.
