This design is satisfyingly simple and effective. The blade is made from super duper wear resistant M4 powder steel, flat ground with a convex edge for high performance. The handle is local tiger stripe maple, treated with aqaufortis to accentuate the grain, like they used to use on Kentucky long rifles back in the day. The custom leather sheath has been dyed to match. This is a knife made to work. M4 is not commonly used on knives because it is so damn hard to finish. What the blade lacks in polish, it more than makes up for in Badassery.
