Based on the ancient Persian weapon, this slender knife is designed to pierce. It’s forged from tough 80Crv2, AKA “Swedish spring steel”. The piece is balanced on the first finger perfectly, making it feel almost weightless in the hand. The blade is a stout .20 at the ricasso and tapers to a wicked tip. The handle is stabilized Redwood burl from California with nickle silver, brass and copper pins. Gimping on the thumb provides a stable registration on the blade while a self guard keeps fingers on the safe end.

The matching sheath features a frog, to facilitate a host of carry options, including sliding under a belt or boot.
