Bog Oak Precisionist
Bog Oak Precisionist
A thin stainless steel santoku style blade, crafted from AEB-L stainless steel at RC62 combines a modern and durable tool with an ancient past. The handle is made from local Iowan Bog Oak, from underneath the Nodaway river valley in Adams County Iowa, near the shop. This naturally jet black wood has been unearthed from a quarry and salvaged to produce this unique knife. The guard is durable micarta, made from compressed layers of canvas and impervious to oils, acids and moisture.
This is a light and agile slicer that can handle any everyday kitchen task from chopping to boning. The ancient oak on the handle is sure to make your mind wander to another time.
