The guard, spacer and pins are all nickel silver and the guard is soldered to the blade or the ultimate durability. The handle is made from Arizona desert ironwood, for its beauty and resistance to water and wear. The collar of the handle is made from elk antler shed from Montana. The spine of the blade is rounded for comfort, and the nickle silver pins are hand domed.
