Made thin and slicey from premium stainless AEB-L steel and featuring a stabilized cherry burl handle with a live edge on the rear. The full flat grind on the blade makes for an efficient slicer and food prep tool with the handy santoku “three graces” design. The 6.5 inch blade is enough for any everyday cooking task and the stainless steel makes maintenance a breeze. The cherry burl used on the handle was from a tree that grew in the makers back yard in Des Moines. A radial mosaic pin in the handle and a micarta guard round out the details of this unique and useful kitchen tool.
