Cleaver with Osage #2
This cleaver is hand forged from high carbon W2 tool steel, with a differentially hardened blade and a beautiful Osage orange handle. Flat ground with a thin hand honed edge, this cleaver is designed to slice and chop. While capable of chopping big cuts of meat, it is also at home doing finesse work like dicing and boning. The nickle silver bolsters are soldered and pinned to the blade for a lifetime of durability. Two sections, on the tang and spine, show a bit of filework symbolizing the connection between hand and blade.
