Expertly hand forged from W2 tool steel with a clay hamon. The flat ground blade is 8 inches long with a 13 inch overall length to the tool. The blade is medium weight and about .125 inches at the rounded spine for a goldilocks feel that works on nearly anything. The bolsters are soldered and pinned to the blade to keep the gunk out of the handle and tang. The handle material is professionally stabilized redwood burl, held in place by three copper bolts in descending sizes. Hand honed to a razor edge and ready to dice.
