Hand forged with a 5.5 inch W2 blade and full tang, drop point design. The blade features a clay hamon for a hard RC61 cutting edge and tough spine. The high flat grind leaves forge marks visible on the tapered flats of the blade near the spine. Local Beaverdale, Iowa walnut wood is combined with stabilized and dyed maple burl for a striking wood combination on the handle. A large mosaic pin as well as two brass and three nickle silver pins anchor the handle.
