This hidden tang beauty has a hand forged blade 5 inches long with a ten inch overall length. The brute d forge straight back blade was forged from 1084 high carbon steel at 60RC. Stabilized cherry burl from the makers backyard in Des Moines was used on the handle. The guard is nickel silver with an ancient local Iowan bog oak spacer. A mosaic pin adds a subtle touch. A great, lightweight, all around outdoor knife. Plenty of blade for the biggest jobs, but not heavy enough to weigh you down.
