This large butcher knife is named for the beautiful driftless area of Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. A heaven on earth of streams, bluffs and hills around the Mississippi river. The seven inch razor sharp, convex ground blade is hand forged from 1084 tool steel. The handle is crafted with Iowa mulberry wood, known for its hardness and water resistance, but even more impressive for its radiant beauty. The solid nickel silver bolsters help balance this powerful knife and red liners add a bit of color. Comes with a handmade brown leather sheath by the same artist who made the knife.
