This stout skinning knife is hand forged from 1085 High Carbon tool steel and hardened to 60RC. The handle is dyed jigged cattle bone with red fiber liners and solid brass pins hand peened for a tight fit. This upswept blade is the classic shape for skinning large animals and the razor sharp convex edge will certainly do any job you put it to. A brute d’forge finish on the blade shows hammer and forge marks as a badge of pride. Includes fitted leather sheath.
