This compact semi skinner has a hand forged 1084 blade at 60 RC with a flat grind and convex edge. The handle is local Iowan Black Walnut from the Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines. Classic brass bolsters are silver soldered to the blade as well as through pinned. The handle is finished with oil and hand polished to a satin luster. One large brass corby bolt and five hand peened pins anchor the handles. A lanyard and matching walnut bead are included, as is a custom brown leather sheath. This is a great compact field knife with power and control as well as the classic good looks of walnut and brass.
