This full sized hidden tang knife sports a hand forged 5.5 inch blade with a 4.75 inch convex cutting edge. The upswept blade is forged from O1 tool steel with a wicked point for piercing a fish as well as a nice belly to clean a deer with. A full sized choil sits in front of the nickel silver guard and offers extra control of the blade when you need it for precise work. The guard is silver soldered and sits above an local iowan bog walnut collar that sat beneath the Nodaway river Vally in Adams county Iowa for 1500 years. The main body of the handle is crafted from local Iowan black walnut wood and anchored with a nickel silver pin (and 125000psi epoxy). Includes a custom made leather pouch sheath the protects the knife when its riding in a pocket or pack.

This knife is a workhorse that doesn’t weight a lot. a full sized blade with plenty of handle for power and control. The hidden tang gives a lighter feel and doesn’t expose the hand to cold metal.
